Now, after 10 years, Telegram has decided to incorporate Stories into its messaging app.

Pavel Durov, the founder of Telegram, announced that the Stories feature will be made available to users in the coming month. However, Durov emphasized that Telegram will not simply copy this feature from its rival apps. Instead, they plan to incorporate it in a unique way that suits the Telegram experience.

In Telegram, the Stories will be displayed above the chat list. Additionally, users will have the option to hide a contact's story if desired. Similar to other platforms, Telegram users will be able to post captions, photos, and videos in their stories. The duration of a story can be set to 6, 12, 24, or 48 hours, depending on the user's preference. Each story will also have its own privacy settings, allowing users to customize who can view their content.

Furthermore, Telegram's founder mentioned that users will have the ability to repost messages from channels to their stories, adding an extra layer of versatility to the feature.
